Knowing how to fulfill a dog will allow him to live a balanced and happy life.
Many dog owners call their dogs their soul mate or their children. But then the dog chews up furniture and yanks the owner all over the street on a walk. The owner pleads with the dog to behave, begs the dog, and offers him treats. Does this help the dog to change? No, of course not!
Why? Dogs are not human! They respond to calm, assertive leadership not emotional arguments or negotiations. Knowing how to fulfill a dog will allow him to live in a balanced way and achieve a healthy state of mind.
Dogs don't need humans to live a balanced life. But when they live with us, we need to help them find that balance. It is our responsibility to fulfill their needs as nature intended them to be fulfilled within the pack.
